Barnacre Cottages sleep from 6 to 16 people in a single cottage and we can accommodate up to 70 people if you book all six cottages for an exclusive event or get together.

The size of the cottages make them the perfect place to hold a celebration. We have kept many a secret for surprise birthday parties, put away deliveries of bubbles for big wedding anniversaries and even hosted a small wedding! We know how much these occasions mean to you and will do everything we can to help you make it a success…

A very busy time of year for Barnacre Cottages, is Christmas and New Year. We try to make this a special time of year for everyone by putting lots of fairy lights and stylish decorations around all the cottages and by providing a real decorated Christmas tree. Of course if you love your family traditions you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer!

We have recently added Fire-Pits, Pizza Ovens, BBQ, Outdoor fridges and Bar areas to the outside of Woodpecker, Oakhouse and Old Stables which have been very popular all year round. Wood and kindling for these is provided and if you need a hand getting the fire started then just give us a shout and we’ll be happy to help. We also have lots of BBQ’s available on site for guests of Piggeries, Mole End and Partridge to make ample use of the lovely outside space we have.

Recently we have hosted larger parties for guests who wish to book all the cottages and hire a marquee on the grounds.

Our plan is to create a function space of our own, like a heated summer house where guests can gather together and hold a party. Join our mailing list and check our news pages for progress on this front!
