Barnacre Holiday Cottages have won many regional and national awards, including a North West Tourist Board Self-Catering Holiday of the Year Gold Award and an Excellence in England Silver Award.

Barnacre Holiday Cottages form a small, private hamlet of six luxury 5 Star Gold holiday cottages, located down a quiet country lane and private driveway. Sleeping between 6 and 16 persons, our Lancashire self-catering holiday cottages can accommodate a range of families or groups. Each holiday cottage has a Mark Wilkinson designer kitchen with granite worktops and quality appliances by Miele and Neff.

Accommodation

Cottages are fully equipped with a fridge, separate freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, air fryer, slow cooker, smart tv, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. The Old Stables, Mole End, Oakhouse, The Piggeries and Woodpecker have Aga cookers and Old Stables even has a gas wok burner!

All of our properties are centrally heated and have wood-burning stoves. Baskets of logs and fuel are provided. The cottages are all served by natural spring water.
All heating, electricity, bed linen, duvets and towels are included in the price. A travel cot, highchair and fireguard are available on request.

The Old Stables and Partridge Cottage have an enclosed paved garden area that is especially suitable for young children.

Guests are welcome to use our all-weather tennis court, but please bring your own equipment.
