Animals Domestic and Wild!
We have three dogs, all very friendly and soft. The youngest is Maggie the puggle, she is a very cute but ugly dog. A 3/4 cross of Pug and Beagle, now almost 7 years old. There’s Barney and also Holly, a tiny Yorkie, now 14 years old who has the personality of a lion and yaps at everything, including cars, bikes, cows, sheep and pheasants. Read more
Walks around Barnacre Cottages
There are some lovely walks – right from your front door, with a couple of routes to Scorton or to Garstang. And luckily, the odd tempting stopping place en route, for refreshments and sustenance! These are some of our regular routes.
Pony Paradise
We recently visited this new Pony Paradise to collect our new harlequin Great Dane pup. However, it is also a great new facility that does all sorts of pony activities. Some of which I am sure would be ideal for our guests. It’s just a 10/15 minute drive from here.
